Family & Friends

RECEIVE SUPPORT AS YOU HELP YOUR LOVED ONE ON THEIR JOURNEY FROM JAIL TO HOME.

Serving time doesn’t just impact the person in jail; it affects families and communities, too.

NeighborCorps Re-Entry Services provides free, supportive services that help your loved one transition back into society. We bring together the motivated individual who is leaving jail, his or her supportive family members and friends, and a team of trained volunteer Navigators to help with multiple aspects of the re-entry process.
If your loved one enrolls in NeighborCorps, trained volunteers will:
  • Visit your loved one (the program Participant) in jail
  • Meet with you while the Participant is in jail
  • Meet with you and Participant after release
  • Include you in identifying the Participant’s skills and strengths to plan for successful re-entry
  • Help the Participant set and achieve goals toward employment and personal development
  • Help with connections to jobs, housing, healthcare, counseling, and immigration help
If you are interested in assisting your loved one, please contact Austin at [email protected] or 732-675-1452 for more information.
